You may be surprised at the diversity of the industrial world in the Tulsa region.

Our 320 union ironworkers are employed by contractors that service, among other things, the following industries: commercial and industrial construction, expansion and maintenance; oil and gas, processing plants and refineries; aircraft maintenance and manufacturing facilities; and glass plants.

We’re even employed by the world’s largest tower erection company, which sends our people all over the world to erect towers that can reach more than 1,300 feet in the sky!

The fall in the price of oil has somewhat dampened business activity in our area, but as the price recovers over time, we expect to ‘roar’ once again.

We train apprentices year-round, offering them four separate weeks of classroom training a year (50 hours each week).

Our members are paid well, and we enjoy a defined benefit pension plan, as well as a defined contribution plan, and a health & welfare plan that are all 100% paid by our employers..

Safety is a top priority, We always work safe.  We offer safety training and upgrading free of charge at our apprenticeship training facility.

We welcome applications from men and women ironworkers and apprentices who are not currently working for a unionized employer.

Come work with the best!
